Our goal is to identify and meet the individual needs as well as the basic needs of people and of the community. We will do this by carrying out the five God given purposes of the Church as defined in the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.
THE GREAT COMMANDMENT
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments" (Mathew 22:37 - 40).
THE GREAT COMMISSION
"Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you" (Mathew 28:19, 20).
- Worship ("Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul and with all your mind.")
- Fellowship ("Love your neighbor as yourself.")
- Evangelism ("Go and make disciples of all nations.")
- Ministry ("Baptizing them")
- Discipleship ("Teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.")
